We just got home from seeing National Treasure and Spongebob Squarepants. Both loving wife and I thought Treasure was excellent, and the kids reported Spongebob was "OK".
The mall was a madhouse. It was literally packed with people, and that is saying a lot because this is one of those "mega-malls" that holds the population of a small city.
I don't know if everyone was buying or just looking, but if even half were buying then this looks like it is going to be a good Christmas season for the retail industry. I guess the Bush economy is not so bad after all. Go figure.
And we still have a few days to go before Thanksgiving . . .
